Harm Reduction is for Everyone: Health & Social Services Community

This workshop is for health and social service providers including those who work in community based organizations. Rather than focus on individual behaviour we will focus on how systems create and exacerbate harm to people who use drugs and other oppressed groups. In this full day workshop we will:

-Increase our knowledge of Harm Reduction approaches, principles and practices.
-Deepen our understanding of non-judgmental care & how values and beliefs contextualize our work.
-Challenge our understanding of substance use and addiction
-Increase knowledge of community based and peer led harm reduction approaches and initiatives.
-There will be opportunities for networking and answering specific questions or issues you are navigating in your work.

For Virtual Events: A full refund can be received up to a week before the event, and a 50% refund is available until the day of the event.

For Half Day In-Person Events: A full refund can be received up to a week before the event, and a 50% refund is available until a day before the event.

For Longer In-Person Events: A full refund is available if requested more than two weeks before the event; and a 50% refund is possible up to a week before the event.
