Hidden in Plain Sight: Navigating the Maze of Human Trafficking

Details

EmpowerMen, in partnership with Melki Films, invites you to a powerful evening at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) featuring a screening of the documentary: Butterfly: Into the Maze of Human Trafficking directed by Viveka Melki.

This compelling film follows the stories of three Canadian and indigenous women who survived sexual exploitation and are courageously navigating their paths to healing. Through their voices, Butterfly reveals the hidden realities of human trafficking in Canada and the strength it takes to reclaim one’s life.
