MEET THE YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR PANELLISTS

Matthew Sabourin,
 co-founder of La Brasserie Nonsuch Brewing Co. Nonsuch is a Winnipeg-based, majority Indigenous-owned craft brewery and hospitality company established in 2016. Under his leadership, Nonsuch has become known for its high-quality beer, elevated culinary programming, and thoughtfully designed in-person experiences that bring people together.

Alexander Hupe is a Winnipeg-based entrepreneur and the founder of Shortline Moving Solutions. Under Alexander’s leadership, Shortline has grown into a diversified operation encompassing: residential and commercial moving, warehousing, 3PL logistics, appliance delivery, specialty freight, equipment hauling and winter-road operations. 

Shyla Niemi is a proud Anishinaabekwe entrepreneur and the founder of Giigido Mikinaak, focusing on creating Indigenous language learning games and tools in fun and accessible ways for families, schools, and communities. Drawing on her background in digital media design and her experience as an Ojibwe Language Coordinator, Shyla collaborates with language speakers to promote Indigenous languages in everyday life and help others reconnect with their cultural identities.
