In partnership with the Winnipeg Police, RCMP, StreetReach, Klinic, and a lived‑experience speaker, this training equips frontline workers to recognize, engage, and safely support victims of trafficking and exploitation. It provides practical scenarios, intervention strategies, and resources grounded in a trauma‑informed, victim‑centred approach.
Please note that this will be a full day covering heavy and sensitive topics. A wellness and quiet room will be available should you need to step out and take a moment at any time during the training.
Date: Wednesday, May 20 - 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM
Registration STARTS: 8:30 AM
Location: 445 King Street, Community Room #1
Details: Snacks and lunch will be provided.
Please let us know:
- Do you have any dietary restrictions?
- Do you require any accommodations to participate comfortably?
EmpowerMEN believes that in‑person training creates a deeper impact and provides richer opportunities to learn, connect, and engage with the material and metwork. Spaces are limited. If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the spot to someone else. Thank you.
Looking forward to seeing you!
