On September 6 & 7, 2018 the Mining Association of Manitoba Inc. (MAMI) will host the National Western Mine Rescue Summit at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Invited to the event are: • Mine Rescue personnel • Mine Rescue instructors • Provincial Mines Inspectors and regulators • Mine Safety specialists • Mining Association leaders and staff • Safety Association representatives • Mine Rescue equipment suppliers The National Western Region Mine Rescue Summit will enable attendees to strengthen professional networks while sharing knowledge through presentations and discussions with esteemed speakers and each other. This interactive two days will exhibit best practices to improve capacity and ability with an ultimate goal of safety and synergy among all.
